Pathways All pathways are an integral part of the course excluding all artificially laid paths and the pathway running along the right hand side of the 9th green. In the case of the path on the right of the 9th green the ball may be played as it lies or dropped, without penalty, in the drop zone, located on the right hand side of the green.
Powerlines
(Hole 14) A ball striking the overhead
powerlines situated in front of the 14th green must
be replayed, without penalty.
Turf Nursery
The turf nursery situated between the 3rd green and 4th
tee is classed as ‘ground under repair’ and a free drop from the area is
mandatory.
Young trees
recently planted and marked with RED paint
If a ball comes to rest near one of these trees and the tree interferes with
your swing or stance, the player is obliged to drop the ball under rule 24-2b
without penalty.
Movable
Obstructions: Stones in bunkers.
Out of Bounds:

the urbanisation and cement walls.

Benches,
water dispensers, wastebaskets, ball washers, tee posters and next tee markers, concrete
paths, open drains, sprinklers, irrigation satellites, pump houses, seed boxes,
grills, distance discs and staked trees. (Relief may be taken under Rule 24-2b)
Movable
Obstructions: (Relief without penalty R. 24-1)
Stones in bunkers and sign-posting for buggies may be removed. (Rule 24-1)
Out of Bounds:
Out of Bounds is defined by the nearest inside point at ground level of the
white stakes, the stone walls, the posts of the metal fences, the support poles
for the protective netting to the Practice Ground.
Obstructions:
Immovable
Obstructions: The tarmac buggy
paths, the metal posts and plastic chains, sprinkler heads, drip system
irrigation tubing and all other parts of the watering system including temporary
hoses and sprinklers. If such an obstruction interferes with a player’s normal
stance or area of intended swing, the ball may be lifted and dropped in
accordance with R 24-2b. i.e. the ball may be dropped without penalty within one
club length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief .
The netting
protecting the houses and supporting posts are
also classified as immovable obstructions and relief may be taken within one
club length of the nearest point of relief if the netting or post interferes
with the players stance or line of intended swing i.e. backswing or follow
through. There is no relief
available simply as a result of the netting interfering with the preferred line
of the shot to the green.

Ground under Repair: Ground
under repair is marked with blue stakes. It is prohibited to play from these
areas and relief must be taken. The Roman ruins on hole 14 are a protected area
and as such are marked GUR.
16th
Hole
The
grass area to the right of the fairway beyond the first line of trees is an
integral part of the course.
Out of Bounds: When out of bounds is defined by a
wall it is the part of the wall that is the nearest to the course that
determines out of bounds. (A ball lodged in the wall is out of bounds).

All asphalted and
gravel paths and their margins, the cords, chains and supports that
surround
them.
b)
The newly planted trees marked
with a blue band.
c)
The wall situated to the left of
the 6th green.

Integral Parts of the Course. (No relief without penalty)
a)
The plastic protectors situated
at the base of the trees.
b)
The heavy irrigation hose that
runs behind the green of hole 4 and on the left side and by the fence of holes
5,7,8 & 9.
Ground under
Repair. Play Prohibited. The
landscaped areas of the course with drip
feed irrigation and/or delimited by stones, wood, taped, cord and/or stakes are
ground under repair, where play is prohibited and relief must be taken. (Relief
obligatory (R–25). And also when the ground is marked with blue markings.
Electricity
Towers. If a ball strikes any one of the
electricity towers on the course, the shot will be cancelled and MUST
BE REPEATED WITHOUT PENALTY.
